Chiropractic Treatment Techniques

Learn about how Diversified/Motion Palpation Technique, Sacral Occipital Technique, and Activator Methods can help you by clicking on the items below.

Diversified/Motion Palpation

Motion Palpation is a diagnostic technique used by the doctor of chiropractic to locate joint dysfunction within the spinal column and extremities. This technique quickly gained acceptance as a standard diagnostic tool for the chiropractic profession.

Diversified Technique is characterized by a high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust. Diversified is considered the most common chiropractic manipulative technique and is differentiated from other techniques in that its objective is to restore proper movement and alignment of spine and joint dysfunction.

Sacral Occipital Technique

SOT concerns itself primarily with the cranial sacral respiratory mechanism.

Activator Methods

The Activator method uses the latest advances in orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic examinations to seek joint dysfunction in the spinal column and extremities for improved patient care. Activator Adjusting Instrument is used to give consistent low-force, high-speed chiropractic adjustments for those who do not wish to have a traditional Chiropractic Adjustment.

Pregnancy and Pediatric Care

Pregnant mothers find that chiropractic adjustments improve their pregnancy and make delivery easier for themselves and their baby. Adjusting methods are always adapted to a patients size, weight, age, and condition of health.
